Things I’ve Learnt Today

  • Sometimes Adelaide seems like a disjointed place. I was sitting opposite a girl on the way to the work to day with big tattoos on her arms and legs, piercings on her face, listening to LOUD metal… and reading The Time Traveller’s Wife.

  • Irony – getting distracted watching Masterchef and overcooking the pasta.
  • I reckon the guy who invented mirrors did it to mess with animals – I have a dog who sits on the couch and growls at her reflection in the TV.
  • Patrick Forrester is a fireman! Congrats on getting in!
  • ‘Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.” – Albert Eistein

Things I’ve Learnt Today

  • Loving bamboo steamers

  • Bugs – airborne protein for cyclists.
  • Keeping a small herb garden healthy is a bit trickier than I had expected. Half the tomato plant leaves turned yellow almost overnight, and the basil has wierd black stuff on it… any ideas?
  • Lost!
  • “Charity begins at home and justice begins next door.” -Charles Dickens
